SHORT BIO

​

Yolanda Johnson is one of Bossie Entertainment, LLC's seasoned talented artist who brings a versatile uplifting and inspiring mood to every show. She takes over the stage and mesmerizes her audience with either foot stomping blues, her classy renditions of old jazz standards & ballads, or parties right on into her soulful R & B groove (new and oldies). Yolanda stands out from other entertainers because she brings a unique New Orleans Second Line groove to the stage which stems from her up bringing in a NOLA family full of world known musicians.  Performing on stage with her fathers band since the age of 5, Yolanda Johnson has captured crowds of varied sizes.  Her band consists of 3 to 8 various well known professional musicians who have worked with many major artist which she calls her "All Star Band". Every musician and engineer involved are or have worked with noted Grammy winners and/or nominee's. Though based out of the Palm Springs area, Yolanda serves all of Southern Cali and travels world-wide.

 

Engineering & spinning between sets you will likely see DJ Cool Hand Luke former DJ for the Wrecking Crew and DJ Mixin Man who are  DJ's and engineers to many notable entertainers.  They also participate in numerous local government concerts providing their pro engineering touch.
